Street parking is prohibited at the church, but drop-off is possible and wedding parking is only a half a block away, located at the Mooresville town entrance. There should be signage so look for signage!

Mooresville is primarily a residential community. The Old Brick Church is old, built in 1839 and there is no newfangled plumbing. There will only be a port-a-potty at the ceremony venue.

Anything semi-formal that makes you feel snazzy! Longer dresses for ladies and suit or suit jacket for gentlemen.

Important for dancers! The patio at Ovenbird is almost fully pea gravel. Consider flats or a change of shoes!

As we are planning a more intimate gathering for both ceremony and reception, we request that children under 8 please be left at home. We hope you understand and appreciate this request. Promise we love your babies dearly!!

Our reception meal will be served family style hopefully accommodating all types of diners! There should be an abundance of food for vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian and omnivores alike but if you have a concern please reach out to one of us!
